Jeffrey Brailas has been painting original works since the late 1970's. He has been recognized and shown in a variety of venues and has won statewide competitions. The paintings revolve around universal themes based on myths and legends and display a deep appreciation for nature and classical art.  “I want each painting to be a complete story that a person can interpret and enjoy forever.”

His studio is in the historic bungalow where he and his wife live.

He has donated works to charities and fund raisers, is a member of Artists for Conservation Foundation (www.natureartists.com)  and Friends of Big Bend National Park.
